Core Aeration

 Core Aeration is a necessary step in maintaining a healthy lawn. It is performed normally by a rolling drum with hollow spikes in which impale the turf revealing a 1 inch x 3 inch hole. This Hole helps to break up compact areas of the lawn as well as slightly cycles  soil upon the lawn

• Core Aeration removes  2-3 inch plug's consisting of grass, thatch & soil from the surface of your lawn.
• Core Aeration helps reduce compact areas of your lawn, increasing air & water penetration. 
•  Spring & fall provide perfect times to aerate your lawn due to the moisture content in the soil and the cool temperatures.
• Some Lawns Require to be aerated 1-2 times a year while some can go without aerating for many years in a row without significant compaction or reduction in water penetration to the root system.
• Once a lawn has established its root system and turf it can be very difficult to improve drainage, Aerating helps your lawn absorb the water to prevent flooding!
• Disease and pathogens prefer a compact moist thatch layered lawn. Aerating resolves this!
