Leaf Cleanup

Ridding your properties turf of leaves at the end of fall and the beginning of spring is  necessary to avoid mold, pathogens, disease and damage to your lawn! Doing this can be as easy as running a lawn mower over your lawn with a bag attached to collect the mulched leaf waste!

• Mold Loves warm moist organic matter, leaves left on your lawn provide just that!
• After removing Leaf debris from your lawn in the fall you can use this as insulation against the cold during the winter for your flower beds and tree bases! Just member to remove the debris come spring to avoid mold!
• If you forgot to clean your lawn of leaves last fall, not all hope is lost; simply remove the leaves in the spring as soon as the snow melts! Although this will not be very easy since the leaves will be wet, this will be suffice enough to make an effort to prevent mold and disease. Watch for white spots on the lawn as this could be mold starting to form. At that point a mold spray designed specifically for lawns should be applied to prevent it from spreading and causing more damage or harm.
